Litigation and Arbitration

Businesses and individuals at times confront serious issues which may, or do, lead to litigation.  In those circumstances a client wants to have in its corner an experienced attorney who will seek prompt solutions while aggressively advocating the client's position - an attorney who understands that the client's best interest is to have dispute resolution as expeditiously and inexpensively as possible.

SVC's litigators have decades of experience representing individuals and companies in a variety of complex business litigation matters.  We have represented clients in hundreds of cases brought in the state and federal courts, and in arbitration and administrative proceedings, in Colorado and in many other states.  The senior litigation attorneys at our firm, Frank Visciano and Mark Gruskin, have a combined 65 plus years of litigation experience, trying to conclusion many cases before courts, juries, and arbitrators.  We also have handled a variety of state and federal court appeals.  Our litigators also have acted as arbitrators and mediators.

We often help our clients avoid litigation when a business dispute arises. When a lawsuit is filed, we aggressively represent our clients' interests throughout the proceedings.  We are acutely sensitive to the time considerations and financial risks associated with lawsuits.  We strive to find favorable solutions throughout the litigation process in order to get our clients out of the litigation business and back into their productive business.  Yet some disputes cannot be resolved without a trial.  In those circumstances our clients know they will have at their side a litigator with vast experience in successfully trying cases.

SVC's litigators have been involved in the defense of large-scale class actions, and have prosecuted and defended many other multi-million dollar lawsuits representing major companies.  We also have represented individuals in much smaller cases that have had a major impact on their lives.  We provide direct, personal attention on all our litigation matters.  Our clients can be confident that their matter, no matter how big or small, will be the focus of our continuing efforts on their behalf.

The areas of our business litigation practice include:
