Our environmental practice provides clients in all industries with practical and efficient approaches to addressing all aspects of environmental law risk management and compliance.  We are especially proficient in working with clients to assess and allocate the risk of environmental liabilities in a variety of business transactions including real estate leasing, sale and purchase transactions and brownfields development opportunities. This expertise includes organizing due diligence investigations, negotiating the acquisition of and making claims against environmental insurance products and policies, and negotiating risk allocation provisions in a variety of agreements. We also have significant experience in negotiating and resolving environmental enforcement actions brought by local, state and federal regulators in the areas of storm water compliance, asbestos regulations, water quality, hazardous waste, wetlands and endangered species.
