
Associate Attorney
Jason was born in Cherokee, Iowa.
He graduated with distinction from Iowa State University with a
Bachelor of Science degree in finance and a minor in political
science. Jason was also admitted to one of Iowa State's highest
honorary societies, Cardinal Key, which recognizes academic
achievement, as well as leadership and involvement in the campus
and surrounding community.
Jason attended law school in St. Paul, Minnesota where he graduated
from Hamline University School of Law in 2008 (Cum Laude). During
law school, Jason received the "Best Brief" award for his first
year appellate brief, a CALI award for Legal Research and Writing
II; and the Scholastic Excellence Award in Environmental Law. Jason
was also a member of the Hamline Law Review, as well as the law
school social committee.
In the spring of 2007, Jason attended Denver University Sturm
College of law as a visiting student and began working for Canges,
Iwashko, Bethke & Bailey, P.C. as a Law Clerk. He joined the
firm as an Associate following his admission to the Colorado Bar in
October of 2008.
Jason is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, the
Colorado Trial Lawyer's Association and the American Bar
Association. He is also a member of the Faculty of Federal
Advocates and is a participant in pro bono activities for the
disadvantaged.
In his time away from the office, Jason enjoys training for
triathlons, exploring everything the Rocky Mountains has to offer
and visiting family and friends. Despite their record, Jason also
remains a passionate Iowa State Cyclones fan.
